Q:  What will my camper/RV tow?
A:  It all depends on the size of the engine, and the rear end of it.  Depending on the model of course, it can vary widely.  The best thing that you can do to find out is to look in the users manual, or to just contact Camper's Corner, and a representative there will be more than happy help you out.

Q:  Is my camper/RV too large to park in campgrounds?
A:  It really all depends on each of the campgrounds.  Most companies make the RVs at least 31 feet long, and there are few campgrounds that will refuse that.

Q:  How hard is a camper to tow?
A:  Not hard at all, it just takes practice.  Once you've mastered how to tow, it'll be just like driving a regular vehicle.

Q:  What happens if I'm on vacation and my RV breaks down?
A:  There are many things that you can do, however the best thing that you can do is to call Camper's Corner and talk to someone there, and they can direct you to the nearest place that can do repairs.  We've been in the business for over 40 years and we know the best places that you can get repairs and service.

Q:  How long will my camper/RV last?
A:  Campers and RVs are much like cars in the aspect that as long as the routine maintenance and services are done, and any minor problems are addressed immediately.

Q:  Can you finance a camper?
A:  Yes.  You can usually get up to 180 month finances with no penalty for early pay-off.  Approval for these finances are based of course upon credit history and household income.

Q:  Do you accept trade-ins?
A:  Simply said, yes.  We will take nearly anything as long as it doesn't need to be fed.

Q:  Is it true that a camper/RV's interest can be tax deductible?
A:  Yes.  As long as there's a bedroom and a bathroom in the vehicle, then it can be counted as a second home and the interest is tax deductible.

Q:  Do you need a special driver's license to drive an RV?
A:  No.

Q:  What is the average price for an overnight stay at a campground?
A:  The average rate is $21.00 per night, however it will depend on the campgrounds themselves.  The best way to find out is to actually call the campground and ask a representative there.

Q:  Do campers come with warranties?
A:  The manufacturers do offer warrantees.  They're usually 1-2 year.

Q:  What is the proper maintenance for a camper/RV?
A:  The best thing that you can do for your vehicle is to bring it into Camper's Corner once a year and allow a service expert to do a yearly checkup.  Most other things can be taken care of with a bit of common sense; example:  If you have a leak, patch it as soon as possible.

Q:  What is the easiest way to stop a water leak?
A:  Seal it right away.  If you let it continue, it may worsen.

Q:  If I have a 1997 camper, are the propane tanks outdated?
A:  Yes.  Any tanks that are dated earlier than 1998 are considered outdated and cannot be filled due to federal and state laws.

Q:  Can I tow a boat behind the camper/RV?
A:  In Tennessee, yes.  You should check to see what your state laws are to see whether or not it is legal where you live.

Q:  Why should you buy a camper/RV from Camper's Corner?

Q:  What are the hookups that I need to tow properly?
A:  An equalizing hitch, sway control, and brake control for a travel trailer.  For a fifth wheel, you need the fifth wheel hitch and brake control.  The best way to know for sure is to contact Camper's Corner before adding hitches to your vehicle.

Q:  Can you adapt to pull a camper with a gooseneck?
A:  Yes, there are now adaptors to do this.  Contact us for more information.

Q:  Will there be any problems with slide-out leaking?
A:  We're very comfortable to say that with the technology today, it will not be a problem to worry about.
